America Recycles Day
A national initiative of Keep America Beautiful. First established by the National Recycling Coalition in 1997, ARD represents the only nationally recognized day dedicated to encouraging Americans to recycle and buy recycled products.
Bring One for the Chipper
You can be one of the many community volunteers that will help chip trees into mulch at the largest Christmas tree recycling event in Georgia.
Join us in celebration of Earth Day with two of the best ways we know how… volunteering and recycling! On this day dedicated to demonstrating support for environmental protection for the last 50+ years, we will unite with a global community of 193 countries that celebrate Earth Day in their own variety of ways to show our love for the planet we call “home."
Governor’s Environmental Address
As the battle rages on over climate change, it’s refreshing to hear what’s going RIGHT with the environment on occasion.
Great Days of Service
Each year for Great Days of Service, Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful teams up with Gwinnett County’s Department of Water Resources to host a watershed cleanup event and promote awareness of the importance of clean water.
Great Gwinnett Wetlands
Come out to clean-up protect, and collect water quality data for Gwinnett's most important water resource--wetlands!
Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day
Gwinnett residents are allowed to bring up to five “containers” of household hazardous waste for FREE! See below for more information on what all you can fit in a “container,” i.e. laundry basket, copy paper box, or similar sized container.
