The Hefty® EnergyBag® program

The Hefty® EnergyBag® program is designed to complement our county’s current curbside recycling programs in both unincorporated and incorporated Gwinnett. The Hefty® EnergyBag® program helps residents recycle plastics that are not part of the list of acceptable items such as #4 through #7 plastics, plastic bags and wraps, foam, plastic dinnerware, and many other plastic items. 
Orange EnergyBags can be purchased at Kroger and Target stores, then dropped off at West Rock located at 384 Maltbie Street in Lawrenceville Monday through Saturday from 7:00am to 2:00pm. Only Hefty® EnergyBag® orange bags will be accepted at this site. To learn more about accepted plastic items through the Hefty® EnergyBag® program, visit https://bit.ly/3uYApKg.
