Eco-Focused Nonprofit to Benefit from Ticket Sales for November 25 Hockey Game Against the Greenville Swamp Rabbits at Gas South Arena in Duluth

Lawrenceville, Ga. – October 31, 2023 – In a wonderful show of community “team spirit,” the Atlanta Gladiators have tapped local Keep America Beautiful affiliate – Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful (GC&B) – to benefit from its Saturday, November 25 game. The environmentally focused, community-based nonprofit will receive $5 from every ticket sold and a portion of the proceeds from the ECHL professional hockey club’s popular “Chuck A Puck” experience. Well-known for its support of local schools, churches, youth athletic organizations, and charities, the Atlanta Gladiators regularly host in-game initiatives like the 50-50 raffle, make direct donations, show up with mascot “Maximus” appearances, and raise funds through ticket sales.
“We are incredibly excited about our partnership with the Atlanta Gladiators and are thankful to them for this opportunity,” said Schelly Marlatt, Executive Director for Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful. “This Thanksgiving weekend game will be a great chance for our Gwinnett County neighbors to get out of the house after eating too much turkey and have some fun with family, friends, and coworkers while showing their support for GC&B!”
In addition to hosting a jam-packed calendar of cleanup and recycling events, managing programs like Adopt-A-Road and Green & Healthy Schools, and partnering with other Gwinnett County Government departments to connect people and resources for a sustainable Gwinnett, Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful is committed to community engagement and education. It will have a table in the Arena lobby at the November 25 game to provide information, answer questions, and hand out swag.
Tickets are just $25-$35 and must be purchased by 5 p.m. on November 25 to benefit Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful. To buy a ticket for the November 25 game, when the Atlanta Gladiators face off against the Greenville Swamp Rabbits on the ice at Gas South Arena, Marlatt encourages Gladiator and GC&B fans to use a special link: https://fevo-enterprise.com/event/GwinnettCB.
